My name is Laura Collins. I am the owner and operator of Laura’s Cookies. My favorite childhood memories involve baking cookies with my mom at Christmas. I loved to add sprinkles to her Italian iced cookies or chocolate-dipped cookies. In high school, I started to venture into baking cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. I found a special love for decorating cookies and gingerbread houses! Through this love, I taught myself how to work with royal icing to make beautiful edible creations!
In the early 2010s, I made cookies for friends and family and by the end of 2018, I decided to make Laura’s Cookies official. I launched Laura’s Cookies out of Westchester County, NY. I love designing cookies for special events and holidays. In the summer of 2021, I closed my doors to Laura’s Cookies in NY and moved to South Burlington, VT. After taking some time to adjust to the state, I am now excited to share my cookies with the Vermont community starting the summer of 2022!
