Orb Weaver Creamery

An operation run by Kate and Zack, Orb Weaver Creamery continues into a second generation of Vermont's original farmhouse cheesemaking. The duo now continues the work of founders Marjorie Susman and Marian Pollack, making delicious cheeses out of New Haven, Vermont, sourcing their own dairy and producing a variety of fresh and aged cheeses.

About Orb Weaver.

Orb Weaver Farm started in 1982 by Marjorie Susman and Marian Pollack. They milked cows, made cheese, and grew organic vegetables until 2018 when Kate and Zack stepped into their big shoes. Kate has been making cheese since 2007 and Zack started milking cows during his off season of being on ski patrol. They milk 12 cows seasonally and make a variety of fresh and aged cheeses.

The Dairy Duo.

Kate and Zack, the owners of Orb Weaver Creamery, were brought together by dairy. After Zack showed up to deliver 100 lb. milk cans to the Southern Vermont cheesemaking operation where Kate worked one day, she knew she had met her match. Over the next few weeks, she continually volunteered to do the backbreaking work of unloading the truck, getting to know Zack in the process. A coworker eventually asked Zach out for Kate - the chatting was holding up the cheesemaking! The rest is Orb Weaver history.
