1000 Stone Farm
1000 Stone Farm is a 4-season certified organic homestead farm that strives to provide the community with the food they need year-around at a cost that is realistic for the consumer and farmers, while also being good to the land. They are located in the rocky and rolling hills of Brookfield, VT just north of its famous floating bridge on Sunset Lake. The sustainable farm is overseen by Kyle Doda, continually working to improve the health and happiness in the community through the joyful practice of sustainable farming.
About Kyle Doda
Born and raised in Virginia, Kyle moved to Vermont in 2012 to be closer to his extended family in New England and the mountains where he loves to backpack, ski, and mountain bike. Kyle chose to live in Vermont to be part of a community that believes in and supports sustainability, particularly related to food, clean water and a healthy climate that supports food production. Kyle practices organic farming so that he can take care of the land that feeds him, and so that he can do his best for the planet by putting his resources into healthy local ecosystems and high-quality food. He enjoys finding innovative ways to produce nutritious high-quality food on a small piece of land.

Farm Fresh Eggs
Eggs are produced on the farm by their organically-fed chickens, who help to restore soil health and increase fertility. In addition to fresh pasture and fields to graze on, 1000 Stone hens are fed a mix of grains and plenty of veggie scraps from the farm. Foraging on pasture gives them a diversity of plants and bugs to eat, making the eggs tastier and healthier.
